Un-Birthday Tea Party

Savana and Becky threw a small Un-Birthday Tea Party for the opening night of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. There was only eight of us: Daryn, Kelly, James, Will, Savana, Becky, Ryan, and me. It's was fun. I'm glad it wasn't a big party. They made Red Raspberry herbal tea, sandwiches, crackers, and cupcakes. Afterwords, everyone went to the midnight show in San Marcos, to watch it in 3-D, besides me (I had to work the next morning):( I'll have to ask them how it was. Sorry for the ugly pix. I only had my phone on me.
We starting out watching Disney's Alice in Wonderland.
I made Savana & Becky these sugar cookies and bought milk for them. For visiting teaching and the party. Perfect timing. Cute idea.
Savana's decorations.
Everyone got their own Un-Birthday poster.
Getting ready to sing and blow out our Un-Birthday cakes.

Michaela's 22nd Birthday/Going Away Party

I threw Michaela a birthday/going away party. Her birthday is on leap year but she left back home today for a few months. Anyways, the theme was Black & White. Food, decorations, cake, dress attire and etc was black/white. It was sweet. I've always wanted to go to a black & white party and who knew I would host the party. Haha. Everyone enjoyed it and had fun.
Michaela's Barbie cake. She wanted a Barbie cake really bad for whatever reason. The French Bakery made it. I helped a little. It was really good. Of course. Everyone loved it.
I wrote on the white chocolate medallion. It's alright. I'm still practicing and of course when the party was pretty much over a few of us ate it, including me. Haha. I was the first the take a bite.
I served chips and dips.

Black and white decorations
Jeremy brought his shaved ice machine and made some for everyone. Everyone loved it. It was definitely the hit of the party.
Making his first shaved ice for the party.

All his goodies for the ice. He only made one kind 'Cloud 9'. It has vanilla ice cream on the bottom, the ice, coconut syrup, condensed milk, whipping cream, and chocolate syrup. Yummy. It's soo good. It was the only kind that matched the black/white theme. It's also the same one that Jeremy made me on our date a while back. Check out my older posts for that. Jeremy made the first few then I helped him with the topping. We made about 30ish.
Michaela got the first one. Of course. She's never had shaved ice before.
Haha. I like this pix. It's stupid and pointless but I still like it.
She loved it.
Getting ready to sing 'Happy Birthday'
This is when we're all singing to her

Towards the end of the party people decided to start dancing.
It got more crazy. Haha.
Haha. Greg is such a good dancer and funny. In a good way. He keeps me entertained when he dances. Haha.

Be Aware

I got this forward on my phone about 20 minutes ago. I was gonna forward it to people but my phone can't forward 2 slides. This is what it said:

This is a new drug known as strawberry quick. There is a scary thing going on in the schools right now that we all need to be aware of. There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks (the candy that sizzles and pops in your mouth). It also smells like strawberry and it is being handed out to kids in school yards. They are calling it strawberry meth or strawberry quick. Kids are ingesting this thinking that it is candy andd being rushed off to the hospital in dire condition. It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange. Please instruct your child not to accept candy from strangers and even not to accept candy that looks like this from a friend (who may have been given it an believe it is pop rocks candy) and to take any that they may have to a teacher, principal, etc. IMMEDIATELY! Pass this on to as many people as you can (even if they don't have kis) so that we can raise awareness!!!!

This is crazy. People are getting more stupid everyday. Please let people know about this. Google it. I found this letter sent out by a school also below:
