Memorial Day Weekend 2010 Part 1

Juan, Stephanie, Sandy, and I went on a road trip to Logandale last weekend. It was actually pretty fun. We left on Thursday. On the way, we stopped in Barstow and we all got a voodoo doll (good ones, haha) then stopped at Calico Ghost Town. That was pretty awesome but it was crowded a little. We met up with Craig and Nana at Caesar's Palace and later went out to eat at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill. It was pretty good. Craig, Nana, Sandy, and I all rode the mechanical bull for free. It was fun. I think I did pretty good. Friday we went to Lake Mead. I got so sunburnt. I don't have pictures but I'll get some soon. That will be Part 2. Later that day I went up to Richfield, UT with Brock and his family and went to Manti Temple on Saturday. It was very cool and very different compared to the San Diego Temple. We drove back to Nana's Sunday and came home Monday. Talk about lots of traffic. That was a stupid idea. Haha. But we stopped at State Line and forced Stephanie to ride Desperado (the roller coaster). Haha that was fun. I couldn't stop laughing. It was a really good weekend and was worth going. Fun times and good memories.
We all played on the DS on the road. The Legend of Zelda and Chrono Trigger. Calico pictures.

Sandy and her man. Haha.
Stephanie and Juan.

To the mines.
Juan and I thought this was a church but it was a school building.

This whole house was made out of glass bottles. Pretty cool. Next two pictures are close up shots.

Funny signs.

We took an old western photo there. Haha. It was fun dressing up and playing around with the guns. Haha.
Just about to head out to the Temple.

Stephanie's 24th Birthday

Today is Stephanie's 24th Birthday. Man, she's getting old. Haha. If she's getting old then that means I'm getting old. Haha. Juan (her boyfriend) threw her a little barbeque after church. It was fun. Very laid back.

Elder Brock Chappell's Homecoming

This past weekend. I went up to see Brock. The first couple of days I hang out with Daniel and Keri (mostly Keri though) then Keri and I drove down to Logandale Friday. Then got to hang out with Brock and his family and friends. It was fun. I can't believe he's home already. Time does go by fast.

Daniel's and Keri's Water Store. All I can say is that their water is really good.

Brock Butler's Farewell Party

Brock Butler is serving his mission in Montana. That should interesting. Anyways, the party was chill. Everyone brought food, there was a mini talent show, then we played a game. Of course, my team won. Haha. It was pretty fun. I only have one picture of Brock. I didn't even think about taking pictures of him. Instead I took pictures of everything esle. Stupid me. Haha. I'll make should I never make that mistake again.

Nice decorations. Haha.

I hung out with Andrew most of the night.

Jennifer and Sani frosting Aaron's cakes.

Brittany Bay's shoes were a hit that night. They even matched her Nike shirt.

My cake that I made Brock. It's alright. I think I could of done a lot better though.
